Founder of Tonal Center Music which has served Tempe with quality music education in the same location since 1999. Kurt has been a performer and educator in Arizona for over 30 years. He is also very versatile and eclectic multi-instrumentalist and compare/producer. He has bachelor and master's degrees in classical guitar performance from Arizona State University.
Kurt is on the music faculty at Estrella Mountain Community College where he leads their jazz ensemble and teaches music courses including guitar, music theory, electronic music production, songwriting among others.

Tonal Center Music was founded in 1999 by Kurt Hauser as a music lesson studio in Tempe, AZ in 1999. That year we moved to the current location on W. University Dr. in Tempe. We have had several wonderful instructors teach lessons on guitar, bass and piano over the years. Tonal Center also operates as a music publisher administering the works of Kurt Hauser, Arizona Acoustic Duo and Trio Salado. Every day I push myself the be the best I can be, whether that is playing guitar, piano composing electronic music or songs for my band.
Kurt has been teaching guitar lessons since 1997. His specialties are rock, classical, jazz and blues. Students from beginner to professional working musician seek out Kurt's comprehensive knowledge of the guitar. His instruction is tailored to the individual, seeking too empower and inspire their musical vision.
