Everyone there is so friendly and helpful. They helped us find the right guitar for our daughter along with all the accessories that we needed. Prices were fair and they have a big selection.

Awesome guitars and friendly helpful stall equal a great environment to browse and there is never any pressure to make a sale its relaxing and these guys know how a guitar shop should be like i love just coming in to jam on a new amp for a while

I like this place since you can try out most Instruments in a soundproof room. Plus the Selection and presentation is very aesthetically pleasing. The staff are friendly and are helpful in repairs + suggestions. Mileage Lessons really depends on Instructors. I used to play violin and the former instructor (pretty sure she retired) was incredibly aggressive rhetorically and teaching wise.

The guitar teacher is Amazing though I learned 5 strings in a very short period of time and now I can Play immediate-to advanced songs. Clarinet teacher was good too in my experience. Overall a solid place to learn and purchase instrument at.

I've been taking voice lessons here. Both Rebekah and Emily are kind people and good instructors, with different skills and talents to offer. All of the employees here that I've met are patient and friendly, willing to help out and answer any questions you have. Beacock is probably your best bet in the Vancouver area if you want to buy some music-related equipment. I bought the Encanto piano songbook here and it was sold at a pretty good price.

Super helpful, knowledgeable, and polite staff. Very nice selection of instruments, replacement parts, and all types of related gear. Would definitely recommend to anybody especially since this is a family-owned place would much rather support them than GC

I have to say that originally I had a great experience buying a new amp in this store followed by a guitar set up. However, the amp I bought sometimes doesn't turn on the first time and I brought it back within the return time, but they weren't able to do anything because it worked for the moment I brought it in. Secondly, I had my guitar set up in drop C tuning and when I came back to buy new strings I asked them to look it up, but ended up getting recommended the wrong strings twice, which put my guitar intonation out of wack and ended up needing to do a whole new set up.

I tried to clarify with the staff member about this before buying and he assured me they were the right strings. In any case, I'll chalk it up to new staff members on that one. However, I spent enough for a set up in the strings I bought, then explained what happened and wasn't offered any sort of assistance or apology for the experience or money I threw away.

I have had great service with Beacock's music. I especially appreciate Irvin's help. He went above and beyond when I had an issue with an online order, then helped me again getting a drum throne. Thank you guys your service is exceptional.

The last 2 times that I have visited this store I have been amazed by the high quality of customer service and the equitable prices. Irvin and others know their instruments. We did a price comparison in the store against thw top online retailer and the prices were the same. So recommend buying at Beacocks. Thank you.

I love this place. Everyone there is so friendly and helpful. I've bought a ukulele here and a guitar, plus an amp. Had a great experience and help with both. I've been taking lessons from Tyson for almost a year now. He is an amazing teacher! I highly recommend this place.

Very nice store. It is large and clean! I was getting a cleaning kit for a beginning band student, so I can't give quality, prices or selection info, so maybe it's five stars? They do have a repair shop.

They went above and beyond to match me with the perfect clarinet, and it was probably the single best retail experience I've ever had.

Awesome fantasyland. Probably 60-70 models of ukuleles. Makes me want to learn to play every type of instrument.

I am a special education assistant at a local school. On Fridays, the students are allowed to do an activity of their choice. My student for the day decided to go to a music store because that's his area of interest. The staff person, Gabe, was very positive and patient with this young man and let him use the instruments without hesitation. I explained that he already owns an instrument and he was trying out others in hopes of trading his old one in. Gabe was very low pressure in terms of sales.
