Soon after retiring I started taking guitar lessons with Glenn. I had played briefly over forty years ago so my knowledge was minimal. About 3 or 4 months in, I told Glenn I'd like to be able to read music. We started on that journey and now I can play a number of pieces by reading the notes. Glenn teaches you how to do things and then, with practice, you find yourself able to do it. He's very knowledgeable, capable and fun to take lessons from. I would highly recommend him to aspiring guitarists of all levels.

29 years have passed since I last played Guitar. Having had a stroke 2 years ago, I wanted to play Guitar and make music again to stay sharp and challenge myself, physically and emotionally. Also, Music has always been my joy, especially Rock & Roll, Hard Rock, Heavy Metal, Motown, and Blues. It was crucial that I find a Guitar Teacher who not only was musically well-versed, talented, and a seasoned professional, but equally patient, nurturing, motivating, and kind. Glenn Sutton has all of the qualities I mentioned, and more.

He's a good-natured, friendly person who truly enjoys imparting to others his wisdom, talent, and passion for Music. Professionally, I'm a self-employed Speech & Language Pathologist specializing in helping Special Education and Handicapped individuals. I've observed Glenn working with people of all ages and abilities. He's an excellent Teacher.

If I had Glenn as a music teacher as a kid, I would have stuck with it. Starting again as an adult with a teacher who really cares about what you like about music, and steering you in the direction you want to go in to play the music you like is incredibly valuable. You learn a lot in a short amount of time, and he tailors each lesson to the student. I highly recommend Glenn and his lessons for all ages.

I have been learning guitar from Glenn from last 3 years. He has been absolute pleasure to work with and makes Guitar learning very fun and enjoyable. He can come up with tune pretty easily and makes learning new songs very easy and fun. I recommend him to all my friends and families!

I've been taking lessons with Glenn for a few months now and could not be more pleased. Not only is he a great teacher, he is a great guy. Given his experience across a variety of musical styles he has the ability to cater the lesson to what you like to play. As someone who is just getting back into playing guitar, Glenn has really accelerated my progress.

My 9 year old son has been taking piano lessons with Glenn since 2012. Teaching a young child to play a musical instrument is no easy task. Glenn has a natural calmness and kindness which has allowed my son to relax and learn in a warm and friendly environment. Glenn has always demonstrated an amazing amount of patience with my boy. My son has now formed a band with his friends and Glenn is helping us with the mechanics of their first song. We truly consider Glenn as a good friend and a fantastic teacher!

Great teacher! Glenn taught my son guitar some years ago, and when I wanted to take piano and keyboard lessons, I knew he would be perfect. Glenn will ask what kind of music you want to play and teach you how to play it. I learn something new every week. All his students (and their parents) look happy.

I just finished my fifth lesson with Glenn and am thoroughly impressed with him as a teacher. Although I played guitar in high school and a bit in college, I haven't play much at all for the last twenty five years. Glenn helped scrape all the rust off my skills and taken me beyond where I was before. I've been wanting to learn jazz guitar for some time now, so I sought out a teacher who could give me the theory and practice behind jazz, and Glenn has been just what I needed.

He's patient and too-the-point, and his knowledge of the guitar is superb. He's been teaching for a long time, and all that experience is really helpful to me. Really an excellent teacher.

Glenn has been teaching my 11 year old son and myself guitar for more than 3 years. He has a deep love for music, patience, and teaching and is an excellent teacher. He is flexible and always positive. My son has learned not only how to play guitar, but also to love music of all types. He is even picking up trombone! Glenn's music tastes match my own and he's an amazing player himself. I whole heartedly give him my strongest recommendation as a music teacher!

Glenn is an excellent music teacher. I have taken guitar lessons from Glenn for a few years. He really strives to make the learning fun and interesting. He talks to the students to see what they are interested in and molds his lesson to address the students interests. He is truly interested in teaching what the student wants to learn. He has an extensive music background and can discuss/teach theory as well as techniques to help you attain the proficiency you want and are willing to work for. I highly recommend Glenn.
