I’ve always loved coming to this place for my musical needs but as of lately that feeling has slowly diminished. They either never have what I need in stock or they’ve put an order in that never comes, at least not in a timely manner. The customer service definitely needs to step it up a bit too, for being a small and intimate space with very minimal traffic I find myself always waiting for someone to help me. Not saying this is a bad place but fixing these little thing could definitely help the customer experience.

The girl at the front desk has a huge attitude problem and has a hard time with customer service. I’ll definitely be taking my kids else where not because of the teachers but because the girl at the front desk was the rudest person I’ve ever met.

I walked into this music store on a Tuesday and they truly have EVERYTHING. Anything you need to buy for creating music, they have it. If you need repairs done, they can do it. If you want lessons in singing or learning any instrument, they teach it. Seriously, come here! The store employee was a friendly woman, too. Very knowledgeable.

Our nine-year-old was on the brink of abandoning her passion for music until we discovered Jazzmine Farol. Her talent, patience, and kindness revitalized our daughter's love for music. I am so lucky to have lived just down the street from B&H Music for two years, because I don't think I'd have discovered it otherwise.

Don't be fooled by their small "hole in the wall" size. B&H can set you up with just about everything you need as a musician: instrument sales and rentals, instrument maintenance (I come here for guitar setups, for instance), guitar pickup upgrades and other customizations, referrals to specialists (they put me in touch with someone who can service my old tube amp), and most importantly: private on-site lessons from top-notch teachers.

For the last two years, I've been seeing Jazzmine Farrol for voice and piano lessons, for example. Jazzmine is easily the best music teacher I've ever had, and if anything backs that up, it's the fact that she has a full time slate of returning students that she teaches each week. Despite teaching for more hours than most of us work, she somehow makes time to perform multiple gigs each week as well, demonstrating an unrivaled talent and passion for her trade.

If you're looking for the best place to go to grow your skills as a musician, look no further.

We have been customers for about 7 years. We have gone through violin, guitar, and piano lessons. We have also rented saxophones for band. All instructors have been wonderful. My son (8) really loves Jazzmine Farol for piano. She is patient on days he may be tired, and can meet his energy on days he has a ton to share. The entire staff is amazing, including the owner, Joseph. Check them out for great a customer experience!

Joseph made adjustments and installed new strings on my acoustic guitar and it plays beautifully. much better than before. Big shout-out to B&H Music for wonderful customer service and expertise!

I bought a Fender beginner guitar with case from Joseph for a very fair price. He carries some B stock guitars which are perfectly fine quality except for some minor blemish. Perfect for a beginner. I later bought a beginner Cordoba classical which was also B stock bargain and was what I needed for my class at Palomar College. Good, knowledgeable people. I always like supporting the local Escondido businesses. They also have a rent to buy plan.

This is a great local shop for your music needs! Joseph is very helpful and knowledgeable. I called about a ukulele method book, and he had pulled it out for my ease of finding prior to my arrival-talk about service! I came for a method book and walked out with a new ukulele. I had an instrument of mine serviced there, too, and Greg the luthier was very personable and attentive to my playing needs. You will find what you're looking for here. I'll definitely be returning for more instruments and gear.

Customer service was 11/10. I was in need of a practice bass amp and the man I spoke with on the phone was so helpful and suggested a great bass amp, and he was very thorough in his explanation. I went and picked it up, and fell in love. It was everything I wanted and was perfect and even came with so many extra features. I had a small problem with it and it was a quick call away, he exchanged it no problem.

I also had help from one of his employees a couple times and they are both on the same page, clearly a very communicative and easy-going business. I would highly recommend anyone to come here for their music needs, super friendly and will answer any questions.

Great service here. Had an older guitar set up and Joseph did a great job. The thing plays beautifully now and I couldn't be happier. I'm a fan of supporting local so I highly recommend.

I am the spouse of Sheila, Michael. I bought a Gibson J45 from the shop in 1972 when it was still owned by the Dopyera brothers. I loved the store and drooled over the resonators, but couldn't afford one since I was just a student. I remember a chrome version there. From the web site, it appears to be just as great as it was. I now live in Oregon so it's likely to be a while before I can come back to see the store again.

This place is such a gem! All the different music teachers are awesome! My daughter loves this place and takes piano, ukele, voice, and guitar! Kaitlin and the receptionist are so helpful and very knowledgable! We are so grateful B & H Music is here in Esco! A variety of talented musicians to choose from!

Wonderful and helpful customer service. Any time I need a guitar item, from music books, to picks, capos, tuners, straps, they have a great selection. Friendly and knowledgable staff. They have excellent instrument instruction and repair also.

This place is a great independently owned mom & pop kind of shop. The people that work here are really helpful and they have a lot of supplies! They make good use of their limited space and find a way to pack a ton of things for instruments. I took a few guitar lessons with the owner as well, hes a great honest business man and an all around good guy. It seems like they have a really good range of teachers for different instruments. I would recommend just stopping by to check it out!

It is really nice to shop for music supplies and instruments at a local store. Joseph sets great prices and has knowledgable employees. B&H has been able to order me anything that they didn't carry in the store and it was available for pickup very quickly. I also have had a couple guitars set up there and they came back just as I had requested.

I love this place! I can't say enough about the staff. Very knowledgeable and professional. Our son and Daughter have been studying Bass and guitar from the same instructor and they have been improving steadily. They offer rent to own on stringed and wind instruments (very reasonable). They also carry supplies for most instruments.
