As a veteran teacher of 21+ years, with experience at three different studios over the course of my career, I recommend Katy Music Studio for its excellent staff of degreed teachers and competitive pricing. There are 12 studio-size classrooms with acoustic pianos (including one grand piano). Lessons begin and end on time. The owner is friendly and receptive to the needs of the clientele.

I can't speak for everyone but the piano teacher name Tina is absolutely wonderful. She is quite skillful but is able to teach in a way that is easy to learn. My kid thinks she's super nice and fun to work with, I'm happy because I can see the improvements he makes every week. Definitely check this place out and if there is a time slot ask for Tina C.

If I could give it no stars for the experience I would. The place smelt terrible and was cramped for the amount of students and parents they had waiting and taking lessons. You could hear all the instruments from inside the tiny room where my daughter was taking her lesson. I think you should only be able to hear yourself, that was extremely distracting.
If you want a place with amazing teachers and an owner who ENCOURAGES (instead of dismissing childrens abilities or interests, ) this is not the place for you. Please do come here if you want to hear negativity, it's the perfect spot! We will not be back nor ever recommend.
