Music Academy South Music Academy South is dedicated to providing service and value in assisting the musical and artistic endeavors of our students. You will find our studios a special place to learn, develop, and discover musical potential. Whether you have no musical experience or years of experience, we have a lesson plan perfect for your needs. Our programs provide instruction and development for most ages and levels of music appreciation.

Our goal is to nurture a love of the arts, first through an understanding of the students' instrument and then how their instrument interrelates with others through performances and study.
Services
Piano instruction is at the core of our musical study at Music Academy South. Our teachers work with all ages and levels; beginner through advanced, elementary through senior adult. Early piano study provides a solid foundation for students who are wondering how to get started. Whether a hobbyist or a seriously competitive student, there is a place for you here!
No music-writing experience necessary! This is for students who enjoy creating music on their instrument, with their voice, or in their head, but need help getting the notes onto the paper. Beginners are welcome-if you've never had a music lesson, you will learn about the various notes and their values and pitches and how to write them (notate) on the musical staff.
We have an exciting new opportunity at Music Academy South! As a voice faculty, we have decided to open up our vocal ensemble auditions to any interested students. As vocal educators, and trained vocalists, we feel strongly that performing within an ensemble (choir, chorus, etc.) is a vital part of a musician's training and career.
Music Academy South offers specialty camps during the summer that appeal to kids and parents alike. The enrichment that concentrated camps can bring to our community feed the imagination, the mind and soul.

I have two kids who have had several types of lessons: my oldest took violin there a few years ago (forgot teacher name) and he was happy and really progressed. My daughter had Daniel Day for guitar and he was knowledgeable, fun and approachable. She learned a lot. For voice lessons she had Jodi, and she excelled. She’d come home and tell me all the things she learned about how to use her voice.

Administration has been excellent. Yearly concerts.

We just started and we have had three lessons. We originally took lessons at another studio for two years. In the first few lessons, I feel like we learned more here then we did in the short length of time at the other location. Mr.Yen is a outstanding teacher we are so thankful for him. Excited for more lessons.

Love Music Academy South! Michelle helped my son with violin for years, and Daniel is now working with my daughter in beginning guitar, which she loves. Both kids are/were very happy. They put on productions (including Christmas) twice a year and it’s for all levels and abilities. I also love the front desk people.

I had both of my daughters here for violin and piano. Piano was awful my daughter was afraid to mess up and was always on eggshells. Her last day at the school she came out in tears because her teacher said she would never be any good. Since switching to another school my daughter is doing awesome and plays wonderful and loves piano now. I do not believe all the teachers are terrible but I had an awful experience.
