Good prices on guitars, has a very good selection of equipment, guitars, basses, pianos, drums, woodwind and brass, anything you would really need from a music store. Service was friendly and helpful, would recommend!

Bought a guitar amp and barely used it. Tried to sell back to them less than a year later. Used less than 10 times and now being told its not in good enough condition to be bought. Yet they had no problems selling it to me originally. Very deceitful place.

Took my Gibson in for what I thought might be an expensive repair. Turns out guitar just needed cleaning and tuning. Great service and experience, this music store is a gem. I recommend any musician to Wood Bros Music! We will be bringing another guitar in for service soon.

I'm a native of The Berkshires and have been going to Wood Bros since I could hold a guitar. Can't say enough nice things about these folks. Professional and helpful in every possible way, always a great selection of instruments, and if they don't have it they'll get it for you. I needed some help on my guitar's under performance, I called up Wood Bros and caught Chip on the Phone they were closed but Chip took the call and I brought my guitar in. we spoke as Chip diagnosed my instrument and he adjusted the neck, Gave me some tips and I was on my way for $20, best $20 I've spent in a very long time I'll be back I hope. I'd certainly recommend!

Team VP cannot say enough good things about Chip and Wood Bros Music. We live in Michigan and buying musical instruments online can be a huge headache. After a truly awful experience with another online vendor we met Chip by a magical set of coincidences that led us to purchase a really very amazing electric guitar for Mr. MVP. We spoke to Chip through email and then via the telephone and were able to ask all of our questions and when the guitar arrived we were elated at how perfect the guitar really was. This is the way stores used to be in the best of ways. The guitar technician knew his stuff and 2 strings and a tuning came to.$4.20. Wood Bro's has a good selection of instruments and sheet music. All in all a great place with, literally, a good vibe.

This is a really nice little music store, for what it's. It has such a great variety of different instruments, including some pretty unique ones as well. It also has a nice collection of guitar petals, if you are into those. I would highly suggest given this store at least one check; it's such a great place to visit, if you are a music fan, as well as if you are in Pittsfield.

I went into this shop looking for a new ukulele and was surprised to see a huge selection of them. The staff was very friendly, answered all of my questions, and helped me find the right uke (despite my picky criteria). Sure, their instruments are a few bucks more than what you'd pay online, but their expertise and hospitality and being able to play it before committing are well worth it.

Guitar selection is lacking to me. Pricing is a bit high. I only go for the used gear and strings, since it's really my only option. I understand the business is tough nowadays but they need to compete with the web a little better.
