Both of my boys have been taking lessons at Malvern School of Music. My older son has been taking saxophone lessons and guitar lessons. He is currently first chair saxophone in Unionville High schools jazz band. Dave peaked my sons interest in the guitar as well and he is really loving playing guitar as well. My younger son takes lessons from Leo and Dave. Leo must play 10 instruments.
My younger son plays sax, bass guitar and also piano. I know too many instruments but they love learning and playing. My younger son plays in the Middles school jazz band. We have known Dave for years and it is great watching someone do something they love. So many of us are not doing what we want.

My children started taking lessons at Malvern School of Music when it first opened. I was so impressed with the owner Dave Stoltzfus. He had such a passion for what he was doing. My daughter began singing lessons with his wife Patty at the age of 11 and has worked with her for the past 5 years. She has encouraged and nurtured my daughter's musical ability and has provided her with so much support, encouragement and confidence.
Over the years, I have been fortunate to have gotten to know Dave and Patty and they are truly amazing people. They are trustworthy, caring, hard working, compassionate and just really good people. For Dave, his job is his passion, not work. He loves what he does and it shows. My son took drum lessons for a few years from a fabulous teacher, James.
My son also did a summer rock camp that was incredible. I was amazed what they accomplished in one week The members of the rock camp put on a show in the park at the end of the week and it was truly spectacular. Dave encourages kids, he gives them confidence, he and cares! Malvern School of Music is an awesome and I highly recommend it if you are looking for a great place to foster the love of music and a musical instrument for your child.

My experience with the Malvern School of Music was wonderful. My daughter took voice lessons at the MSoM for 5 years and she enjoyed it very much. We were thrilled with how her teacher nurtured both her love of music and her abilities. She also provided her with opportunities to perform in public. My daughter elected to continue her vocal training in college and her instructors there have complimented her initial training. We were also so pleased to have the owner, Dave, help us record her voice for college applications. Thank you MSoM for a gift that will last her lifetime.
