Services
6. Books fees are to be paid either by the Charter school (Depending on which one) or by the student. 7. TMA does not claim field trips, curriculum subscriptions, or other benefits as our own to falsely boost up our own program. 8. TMA offers a class/tutoring session. We do not offer representation at meetings (esp SpEd), graduation, teacher conferences, or other elements that would lead a reasonable person to think that the TMA is operating a school.
Lessons for beginners we start with learning how to take care of the violin, how to tune it, and what all the parts are called. Then we go over how to hold it, proper posture (which is very important), left hand position and bow hand position. We talk about bowing and go over some basic rhythms to practice on different strings, and then start using fingers on the fingerboard to learn basic scales and simple songs.

If I could give this a 0 I would. The owner is beyond unprofessional and makes learning music miserable for students. I paid for 4 lessons a few months ago. We completed 1 lesson and then I got pulled out of state. She did call me once which I responded that I would call her back once I returned. Fast forward to today, I call to schedule the final 3 lessons that are already paid for, she laughs and mocks the situation and then says she will not schedule.
This is fraud. No where in the contact does it state you have to complete lessons within x period. Even then, I paid in late February 2022 and we are in April. Don't waste your time, energy or money.

LOCATION HAS MOVED TO: 31045 TEMECULA PKWY. SUITE 208. I think this place is amazing! Russell Bizzett has been my drum instructor and mentor for almost three years. He is a very patient and kind man, and has drastically improved my drumming ability! It seems there's a big difference in opinion between people who actually walk through the door and attend the academy, verses people surfing for the cheapest, do it at my leisure, what do you care if I practice or not, type of lessons. Did the other people who rated this place poorly, conveniently forget to mention that the instructors here have degrees from the London college of music and the Berklee school of music?
I imagine that's why they expect a certain amount of reciprocity, if they invest their time in you. This place has literally changed my life and my growth as a musician while giving me new opportunities in the community to play live. At least walk through the door and check the place out and take a few lessons before you rate a place 1 star and make derogatory statements about its instructors, please! If you want to have fun while learning properly, I promise you this is the place!

I have been searching high and low for the absolute best Drum Instructor for my eldest child and I have to admit that Temecula Music Academy has one of the best, if not the best instructor in the business; His name is Blake. He knows how to have patience and use building blocks to get across otherwise difficult music theories. We have also worked with the other instructors as well and all have been phenomenal!
My son went from knowing zero about music to keeping different time signature rhythms and is now apart of rock band shredding up the valley! 10/10 Customer service 10/10 pricing 10/10 lessons

I went there with my daughter for the first time and no one knew who she was or what she was there for. She was supposed to be getting a piano lesson and maybe 20 minutes the lady kept coming in and out the room telling me she had no idea why she was teaching her. She called her boss to see if she knew who my daughter was. The boss never answered. Overall this place is dirty and Very unorganized. The lady that was with my daughter seemed very upset. I will not be going back! Save your money and go somewhere else.

I am a student at this academy. I take drum lessons from Blake, and not only has he been a great teacher but also a great friend. He has changed my life and musical abilities. I don't know what it would be like without him. From day one he was very nice and friendly, and I had never had any problems with any of the staff. Truly a great place to learn music and grow as a musician.

Temecula Music Academy is a fantastic place to learn properly, while having a lot of fun. Their instructors are some of the best in Temecula Valley, and are professionally trained and/or actively gig. My own playing has come a long way after attending this academy, and I have been able to get many opportunities and gigs of my own after studying here.
This place is my home away from home, and I have a lot of fun there. Please give them a call, or stop by to see the nice space, studios, and possibly to meet an instructor of your choice (depending on the instrument or voice). They are all patient and kind, and the drum instructors are really great!

I'm a past student of Sandi Capel for vocals and Billy Tsounis for guitar and piano. I've had both private and group lessons spanning a two year period and I have nothing but praise for the teachers I've had. They welcome you and teach you with kindness and patience, two qualities absolutley necessary for an excellent teacher. Though I'm not in classes currently, I've applied the techniques Mrs Sandi taught me and I've improved immensely!
The lessons not only helped me to sing correctly, but it also gave me confidence to go on stage and present myself to others. Definitely a confidence builder. Sandi is beyond talented herself. Billy absolutely is as well, having fascinating music of his own online. I was a complete beginner with guitar and his teachings gave me a solid foundation and on top of that, he's a hilarious guy and very down to earth.
Never had any troubles with any teachers or staff there. The building itself is very small, but the rooms are decent sized and don't feel crammed. Overall, one of the best experiences I've had and as I look back I feel as though I've gained valuable knowledge :

The owner isn't friendly to young adults or adults for that matter. Terrible experience, there are plenty of other instructors and places around. This place is tiny and over priced, add that with terrible customer service. to the girl with the English accent, 'we found a better steak, for a cheaper price'. That was your analogy when we asked if you would give us the same rate as a bigger competitor. Not only do you have terrible customer service skills but your predjudice against diverse families are not tolerated in Temecula.

I placed a call here to get some quotes on some lessons, there was a lady that had an accent who answered my call. I asked if they offered 1 class per month for guitar, to which she said they do and gave me the prices for it which sounded reasonable, I know that taking more classes will be a better deal however, at the time of my call I only had time for one class, I asked if can schedule a time to come in because I was interested in taking classes, this is where i was very offended by how disrespectful, rude, and unprofessional this lady was.
She asked me "why do you only want to take one class? Can you not offord to take more classes, it kind of sounds like a waste of your time and ours" I was a bit taken off by that comment but I thought maybe she's "trying" to look out for my best interest, I told her that I work full time, and going to school, but am really interested in picking up the guitar for a hobby to help me unwind, and what she said this time really took me over the top, her reply was "judging by what you've told me, it doesnt sound like you're serious about the guitar and wouldn't actually practice, you don't sound dedicated enough".
First and for most, what does it matter to you if "I" practice or not? If I pay for my lesson and dont practice, that's on me, your business has gotten paid, it's like being at a restaurant and ordering a burger and the waitress telling you "oh you dont seem hungry enough to eat a burger", another thing, what if someone really cant afford to take 4 classes per month?
If you offer 1 class and clearly state that you do, why would you turn away business? And lastly, who are you tell someone "you dont sound dedicated enough or serious about the guitar" or any musical instrument for that matter? I am now taking private lessons 5 times a month and am gladly shedding out my money, guess I was passionate enough. If you want to be treated disrespectfully, this is the place for you.

Performances rendered Sunday 5June16 Set 3 @ 3:30pm were phenomenal. The children gave a "Vangouh-type" performance that was masterfully given. Seeing the children mix the keyboards, strum the guitar and sing their songs produced tearful emotions their words carried as they pierced our mind's heart, raining droplets of the song's story. The "burning house, " "lonely boy" and "Valerie" gave passion to escaping bad things; and feelings of loneliness that was rescued by the friendship of Peter Pan. I can't wait to get my copy of the DVD. Thanks Music Academy you did it again.

Hi my name is Jessica. I am a student of Temecula Music Academy. It is really great there, I have had so many memories coming there from group classes to recitals. It has been amazing going there. Sandi and Taylor have fought me so much and I have learned so much going here. I really recommend this music school. They provide everything you need to know about music. Bye!

My daughter has been attending piano lessons at Temecula Music Academy going on almost two years now. I am so impressed with how much she has learned. Her instructor Naomi is wonderful at what she does. My daughter loves going to her lessons every week and is always eager to practice at home everything she is being taught. The rest of the staff is very friendly and inviting. I would recommend this school for not only piano lessons but other instrument instruction as well. I am currently trying to talk my daughter into taking voice lessons!
