Elaine Bryant's thorough knowledge of harp music, performance, techniques and instruction methods make her an excellent harp teacher. In addition, Ms. Bryant has worked with many home-school students, incorporating her classes into their curriculum. Ms. Bryant offers private Maryland harp music lessons to both children and adults in her studio in Carroll County, Maryland.
No prior musical knowledge is required. Ms. Bryant can work with students at any level - from very beginner who has no knowledge of music, to advanced students. Ms. Bryant offers inexpensive student instruments to rent or rent-to-own. These beginner instruments have either 22 or 29 strings, and provide a low-risk way for students to decide if they want to continue to develop their skills, purchasing better-quality instruments as they progress.

Elaine Bryant brings extensive experience as both a Harp performer and Harp teacher in Maryland and the surrounding areas. She has played for local orchestras, such as the Frederick Symphony and the Gettysburg Symphony, and for a variety of occasions, such as weddings, parties, recitals, and funerals.

Elaine is such an amazing teacher. She is so sweet and fun to be around. She truly cares about her students and enjoys seeing them progress. Even though I am 30 and felt like I was starting a bit late at learning the Harp, Elaine was so kind and happy to take me on as one of her students. Elaine at Harp Shadows was a JOY to work with for our December 2016 wedding. She was so professional, kind, and TALENTED! We hired Elaine to play for our wedding in October 2016. Elaine was prompt and on top of all the music she would play, flexible for any requests we had, and helpful in offering suggestions for music for the various segments of the ceremony. The music was beautiful and the perfect touch for our ceremony and guests.
