Think twice before starting lessons here or signing up for camp here. The owner is extremely money motivated and they have fees for everything - sign up fees, registration fees, extra fees for nothing, etc. It feels like a real money pit. Also, very inflexible. They will not let you reschedule lessons and they will not let you change camp dates, even if you have good reasons. Absolutely no refunds, things happen but the owner is unwilling to work with families and has reasonable policies.

I would like to wholeheartedly thank the team of Harmonia School of Music and Art for the fantastic two weeks my son spent at their Summer Camp! Great program, superb final showcase, and lots of fun along the way! My son Kiril got tailored attention (which is important to me as he has some special needs), made friends, made great arts projects, enjoyed musical instruments, and had his very own role and lines in a play!
Every day he came home from camp bursting with positive impressions and cool camp life stories! All staff members are incredibly friendly and work hard to make their campers' time in camp both useful and enjoyable! I am very happy about everything my son got to learn and experience over the last two weeks. The final show was thoroughly made and was a great treat for the parents! We are definitely coming back, both for more camps and regular classes! Highly recommend this school for all musically inclined children!

This is how much my son loves Harmonia School of Music and Art. This is his 2nd year. He could not wait and here is what happened the night before after I put him to bed. At 1:00 a.m.: Diego came to my bed and said Mommy, wake up, Is it time for me to get ready for Harmonia Summer Camp, I looked at the clock, Diego is like 1:00 a.m. please go back to sleep.
Okay mommy. ****3:17 a.m: Diego: Mommy wake up, is it time now?, Me: What time is it, and I looked at my clock and it was like 3 a.m. DIEGO PLEASE go to sleep. Diego: Okay mommy.**** 6:12 a.m.:Diego: Mommy I think the alarm went off and I see light outside., Diego it is not time, please go back to sleep, we are going to be very tired.*****6:45 a.m.
The alarm went off and I turned it off and felt sleep. I woke up at 7:55 a.m. Diego wake up it is late Diego said Oh no, didn't I wake you up early, now I am going to be late for my first day. I wish you would have woken up when I asked you. I do not want to miss my class. Got to love my Diego!

I disagree with the poor review. Harmonia has always been reasonable with cancellations and accommodating the students' needs. Every business has their own policy and they always try to accommodate your situation within reasons. If I were that parent, I would have tried to do my part too and called ahead BEFORE the class started if I thought my child was going to be too sick to attend.
My son is in 7th grade now. He's been going to Harmonia since maybe 2nd grade. He started with art classes, produced really cool work that we still keep in the house today, framed and hung on the wall. Then he soon started piano lessons too and now he's working on his Grade 5 ABRSM exam this Fall. We just moved and we bought a baby grand piano that looks really nice because thankfully we have a piano player in the house!
My son also did some voice lessons and cello lessons, and he loved all of them but unfortunately he doesn't have the time to do all of those in a regular basis. Harmonia always has great teachers, great fun events for the kids (Annual Scale-a-thon, Halloween Recital, annual recitals, etc etc). Harmonia is so much better than Music & Arts because it feels more homey and we're like a huge family here.
