Asked for a setup on a 3 year old acoustic Cole Clark Angel ($2500). Just did a restring and a "cleaning". I would have done it myself. Scratched the fretboard and didn't get the dirt out. They have compounds to clean and remove the dirt and grime. You dont scratch it with steel wool. You put painters tape over the frets when cleaning the frets to not scratch. Honestly glad they didn't mess with the truss rod.

Anyone who does that terrible of a job cleaning a fretboard doesn't know what they're doing. Very disappointed. Now ill have to refinish the fretboard. Maybe lessons and equipment is fine, but dont let them service your instrument.

Most of the shops in chagrin falls at the quaint rustic small town vibe but their phone is all hell and it's hard to talk to the people when their noses are so far up in the air, however, chagrin valley music is as genuine as it comes! Besides they got everything you're going to need there and surprisingly it's more affordable than most local guitar shops or music stores. Plus there's this cool dude trip that hangs out there and jams. So it's well worth the trip noise.m

Everything a local music shop should be! They have an extensive reference book section, several instruments cases as well as the usual assortment of guitars, ukes, mandolins and in particular a custom 5 string bass that I will be dreaming about playing this very night!

After a terrible rental experience from another music store, Chagrin Valley Music restored my faith in people! The clerk was so friendly and patient and took the time to tell my daughter all about the ins and outs of her new violin. We received a quality instrument and exceptional customer service. We will be back!

Fantastic customer service! Seriously. I went to Warren Henry Music in early March to get an idea of available acoustic guitars in anticipation of my birthday. I was drawn to the CPX600, but not in the color at the shop. Warren said he could get it in my preferred color (brown sunburst) and set it up with lower action (just like the one in the store).

I was about 2 months away from my purchase and didn't think much about it. And then COVID-19 happened. As I started to see the dwindling supply from the big box stores in April, I figured I'd reach out to Warren to see what he could do. Within hours of sending my email, his partner, Amy, called me and updated me on the Yamaha supply. It was not looking good.

Over the next two weeks, she worked to secure the guitar I was looking for and kept me apprised every step of the way. But it didn't happen. Yamaha's supply was depleted and mid-July was the projected date she could get one in. Perhaps now is the time I will tell you that the big box stores got the shipment of the guitar I was looking and I could get it shipped in days.

But it wouldn't be set up how I wanted and, after all, Warren and Amy easily earned my business by then. So when Amy told me the news, she offered a solution: she set up an appointment for me to come into the store (on my birthday) so I can play some guitars to see if there is something else I'd like. When I got there, Warren already had 6 guitars waiting for me to play (all set up with lower action). It wasn't long before I found my Yamaha FSX820 in brown sunburst. Super happy with the guitar. Incredibly impressed by the level of service I received.

I had Warren fix two guitars for me and set another one up. He fixed a crack in my Martin that ran along the entire back side and it looks and sounds great! Brought it back and Warren made some adjustments free of charge! It's the service after the sale that counts! Will definitely be a repeat customer and recommend to others! Thanks Warren!

Warren Henry Music are very experienced in acoustic guitar evaluation and repair. My original guitar was not repairable, Warren helped me select a suitable replacement at a price that was within my budget. Great place to do business with!

Was looking somewhere to get some guitars setup and came across this place based on it's great reviews. They made my Taylor acoustic and two strats feel and play amazing at an affordable cost. Would highly recommend this place to others!

Outstanding shop. I have taken two nice acoustics to Warren, including a '70s Martin D-35 that had a shrunken pick guard and related crack in the top. Both guitars were returned to me with outstanding setups and if I told you the Martin had been repaired, you probably would not believe unless you looked inside with a mirror to see. The new pick guard was beveled, fitted and attached perfectly as well.

I'm in a bit of an acoustic phase at the moment, but I look forward to seeing what they can do for an electric, as that's obviously an area where Warren has a lot of experience as well. How often do you get to take your guitar to someone who worked for Leo Fender? I wholeheartedly recommend this shop. And in full disclosure -- I have an interest in this.

I want to make sure this great guitar shop that's not to far from my house sticks around for a long long time. I have also heard from someone taking lessons here that they also had a great experience.
