I had learned piano from two piano teachers in the past, Mr. Ortiz is way beyond a piano teacher who just teach you the basic and follow the piano books. My 2 sons took lessons from him for 9 yrs. Even one of my son didn't have much interest but he had so much patience and found ways to get my son to learn. He target your weakness and problems and teach you special skills and technique. Also, he would create guides and show piano books, videos, etc. to ensure you play well and understand. Now, I am taking piano lessons from him after my sons. We are very fortunate that we had found him.
