Had a great amount of attention and help from two of the gentlemen (Ron and Roger) that were probably the most friendly and polite music staffers I've ever dealt with, and were also able to work out some good deals for me.Many thanks to these guys, will definitely be back!

A Local Family Business with Strong Roots in the Community. Founded in 1988, Accent Music has deep roots in our music community. My father, Don Harkey, and I started Accent Music in order to provide a resource to musicians in our home-state of Delaware and the surrounding area. We wanted to supply leading brands, great service and low prices in a family-friendly atmosphere.
Fingerboard conditioning, nut height calibration, saddle calibration, truss rod adjustment, restring. Condition of bridge and neck angle may be factors in the appropriateness of an under the saddle pickup. Repair and restoration of vintage instruments usually means that a local guitar shop orders parts from a supplier and makes them work to give your instrument an appearance of being restored. We actually make all attempts to restore the old parts, bodies and necks before even thinking of applying a new part to your instrument.
A well equipped shop with a large stock of new, used and obsolete woodwind and brass parts. Marc Gullo, our lead brass and woodwind repair technician graduated from Red Wing Repair institute and has been working with Accent Music for over 20 years. He is a member of NAPBIRT (National Association of Band Instrument Repair).
Accent Music works with the best musicians in the Tri-State area. Local symphonies, bands, schools and musical groups are made up of the teachers who teach at Accent! Our teachers have graduated from such prestigious schools as Julliard School of Music, Peabody Conservatory, University of Delaware, West Chester, etc.

Called up with interest of purchasing a 3K-4K guitar they had online. Was willing to buy immediately. They were rude, short, and unorganized and actually acted like they didn't have time to discuss it). I'm glad I didn't purchase or move forward. You would think if someone was in the business of selling guitars for a living that a purchase "that large" would take priority over.
I don't know, selling $10 Ernie Ball Strings? or music CD's. Claimed they were ESP vendor, yet weren't on the approved list (this info is available on ESP's site). Wouldn't send images of guitar close ups either (as opposed to hard to see online thumbnail). Red flags all point to some questionable practices going on here. Would recommend buyers to look elsewhere, and not take a chance with your $ here - too many fakes online, and sketchy practices - lots of legitimate guitar buying systems online as alternatives.
Just because a seller has a web page, doesn't mean that the purchase is legit. If you are checking reviews before purchase, then I am saving you time, money, and hassle - nothing to see here - move on!

Not good. I am new in town and looking for a new music store and when I arrived here the store was dirty with parts and equipment laying on the ground. Then when I found someone and asked about a mic stand they showed me they only had 1 which was way over priced for a cheap stand then when I went to ask another question I was ignored so I just left. I really wish I could have utilized this store instead of driving to guitar center :

I was ready to check out online, then saw the option to subscribe to the newsletter. I figured a coupon would come to welcome me as a new customer, but none came. So I wrote to the company, and Steve replied, giving me a coupon code (accentvip) which did not work. I called their customer service line to get it sorted out. A woman answered, informed me that the web guy wasn't working that day, and that I should try to email Steve.
She made no attempt to fulfill my order over the phone, and pretty much inferred that I would just have to deal with the hassle of their faulty system. So I emailed Steve again, telling him about my disappointment and surprise with the phone experience. I waited a week for Steve's reply to my second email. He made no reference to the poor customer service on the phone, he had no idea what I was trying to order (though I specified) and then when he actually took a look at my past email, he told me the coupon code wouldn't work for that particular product.
He didn't give me a replacement code to use. I'm pretty disappointed with the customer service of Accent Music. All in all, this family based company has no real family values.

Never had a problem going to this store before but today when I went to rent an instrument, the guy I asked for help (manger I guess?) had this attitude of there's no way you can get this. First when I asked him for the instrument he said they didn't have it, then he found it. Then when I showed him my car he said there was no way the instrument would fit in there just by looking at it.
I had to ask can we at least try and when we did it fit. Lastly when It came time to pay he wouldn't let me proceed b/c I didn't have a credit card which is understandable and fine but the tone he used and the way he talked to me was really not called for. The whole process I just felt like he didn't want to give this instrument to me, it was as if he was trying to find every excuse in the book to not let me have the instrument ugh!
I guess I'm mostly bothered by the way that he talked to me and his unwillingness to try everything he could to try and allow me to rent the instrument. Towards the end it a little better, he said he would hold the instrument for me but I don't know about going there again, it was just bad customer service. I work in a place I have to deal with customers all the time and I never talk to them the way he talked to, I didn't deserve to feel like there was no way I was ever going to get that instrument and that's the way he made me feel. I don't think he meant to make me feel that way but that is indeed how I felt after my visit today.
