What makes Music Together different? Research. Music Together was first offered to the public in 1987 and pioneered the concept of a research-based, developmentally appropriate early childhood music curriculum. Today classes are offered all over the world including a lab school in Princeton, New Jersey.
Every child LOVES Music Together! During the early years, it is extremely important that parents and caregivers be the ones who create a nurturing environment. Children are biologically "wired" to respond most to those with whom they have close bonds. Music Together classes help you build that bond. Best of all, it's fun!
The Music Together curriculum includes a mix of original songs and traditional tunes from the folk, jazz, and world music traditions in a variety of tonalities and meters. By presenting a range of musical styles from lyrical to blues, from folk to boogie, Music Together provides children with a rich music experience that stimulates and supports their growing music skills and understanding.

Music Together of Charlotte was our introduction to the Music Together family. It did not take long for the effects to start showing in my 5 month old. Her verbal, sight, sound, rhythm/motion, and social skills took off. Most of all, we quickly realized she had a passion for music which is still with her. When she is upset, we just turn on her Music Together songs and voila!
She is instantly calm. Our daughter adores her teacher and we always have an amazing day after she starts her morning at Music Together class! So, so grateful for this program!!

I have been doing Music Together for many years now, my oldest of six children is thirteen, and I have done it with all of my kids. The past five years with Ms. Melissa at the Fountains in Ballantyne have been my favorite. i have ways loved the program, music and their theories and approach to teaching and sharing a love of music with childten, but Ms. Melissa is amazing. she even did a birthday party at my house and came up with Star Wars music to go with the theme of his party. i am so thankful to have such an amazing teacher such a fabulous program so close to my house.
I love being able to share my passion for music with all my kids and see them grow with the program. They all have their favorite songs from the collections but the Christmas season is always special. I can't recommend their program enough!

Music Together has one of the best music programs for kids that I've been a part of! I love the encouragement to be ourselves in class, and of course to always take the music home with us! Music Together is more than just a class, we are a community, and have made great friends through being in classes. I've loved watching the children grow SO much from the music and dancing, and even singing their own lyrics! What a joy is has been to be a part of Music Together!

We have been a MT family for almost four years, starting with my now 4 yr old and continuing with my 1 year old. We can’t say enough wonderful things about MT, especially about our amazing teacher Miss Melissa. MT has brought music and movement into our home on a regular basis, giving us songs and dances to incorporate into our daily lives and making every day tasks (brushing our teeth, putting on shoes) fun.
Car rides become entertainment for the whole family! We have made friendships and bonds through our classes that will last for years to come. I just love seeing the baby participate (making sing-song sounds, clapping, using the instruments) alongside his big brother.

Before I found MT 5 years ago, my kids and I were listening to a lot of "wheels on the bus" type music. This program filled our need for fun, complex, international music that we find ourselves jamming to on a daily basis - my girls make up their own lyrics to the catchy tunes and sing the lullabies to one another. The instructors have made a huge impact on my children's lives, demonstrating a love for music and the essential idea that it's our right as humans to sing and express ourselves. Thank you MT for infiltrating our lives with such joyous music!
