I am committed to your growth, focused on your singing, and deeply engaged in helping you achieve your best. I believe passionately that growth and learning can only happen in a relaxed, focused, nurturing environment. After decades of teaching, I know how the voice works and how to help you grow as a singer.

I have many years of study and research in pedagogy, anatomy, physiology, acoustics, body alignment and relaxation. In addition, I've been a professional singer for over 30 years. This knowledge enables me to see how the voice works, and to diagnose what may be limiting you as a singer. After years of developing my own method I've come to believe in what the old Italian masters taught: proper breath support; relaxed, efficient posture; clarity of vowels; maintaining efficient tone production through the passaggio; all of which lead to natural-sounding, tension-free singing throughout the range.

Lee is a wonderful human being and a fabulous vocal coach. He creates a warm, focused learning environment in which there is so much room to explore and practice a kind of patience with myself that Lee demonstrates on a daily basis. He always provides gentle, helpful reminders that allow me to connect to my breath, voice, and body.
