Edna Beech is an incredible teacher! I have been taking lessons from her for almost a year now, and look forward to seeing her every week! She's patient and kind and she truly cares for all of her students. I'm so lucky to be able to call her my teacher. She makes music come to life and I absolutely adore her! Edna is experienced, talented and a pleasure to learn from. I seriously could not ask for a better teacher!

When our son said he wanted to play violin in his grade school orchestra we wanted to help him have a great experience with the instrument. So we enrolled him in private lessons, too. He went through a few different private instructors, which helped him be one of the best of the school orchestra's beginners. And then we stumbled upon Edna Beech and Violin Virtue-Osity.
By the end of that first school year, with Edna's help, he had moved from the beginner to intermediate orchestra. Then he took off the summer. He came back into the intermediate orchestra, but his spot with Edna had filled during the summer so we had to hire a different private coach. He progressed along with the other intermediate musicians until a spot opened up in Edna's schedule.
We put him back under her tutelage, and by the spring concert of his second year playing violin he was in the school's advanced orchestra. And he stayed with Edna from then on. As soon as he was old enough, he auditioned for and was accepted into the Phoenix Symphony Orchestra Youth Strings. During the audition his technique was evaluated as superior. Edna is an amazing violinist herself -- Juilliard trained -- and a superb instructor.
Our son would rather play video games than anything else, but with Edna's coaching he became a great violinist in spite of himself! Many of the students in the youth orchestra walk around with her sticker on their violin cases. If you want your child to have the very best start toward a lifetime of enjoying to play the violin, or if you want to learn to play yourself, I highly recommend Edna Beech. You won't find anyone better.
