At Dance & Arts Showcase, we provide the perfect learning environment for your child with well-qualified instructors who foster wonderful student/teacher relationships and a comprehensive selection of classes. Our curriculum includes ballet, tap, jazz, creative movement, hip hop and music & voice instruction. We even have classes for adults, such as ballroom dancing and yoga. Jean Shapiro, director and owner of Dance & Arts Showcase, has been teaching dance and exercise since 1972. She was the principal dancer of the Atlanta Playhouse Theatre, and produced and directed her own original TV show called Exercise and Health, which won a cable award.
Services
Discounted Rates: $128 for 8 classes per month or $192 per quarter for a total of 12 classes. Notes: These dance class prices are for children ages 2 and up. The registration fee and first month's payment must be received prior to the start of class in order for your child to reserve a place. Tuition is due the first week of each month. No payments or registration fees will be refunded after registration.
Our season is typically August thru June. No payments will be refunded for recital or costume fees after the order is placed with the studio. The monthly payment for each class will remain the same even if a student misses a class. This policy remains in effect even if a student misses an entire month, so please ensure your child arrives on time and is present for each class.

From the time she was a baby, Ms. Shapiro's life has revolved around dance. Her mother, one of the original members of the Atlanta Ballet, passed on to her daughter a passion for dance and the arts, which Jean took to heart.

My little one is loving her ballet & tap classes here. She always soo happy to come here and leaves talking a lot about her classes. I would give 6 stars to this place if I could. They do beautiful recitals at Energy Duluth Arena. Instructors are SOO sweet and flexible. I'm glad I've chosen this place. Good parking lot. Easy location to find.
