Eclectic Music - An Intown School Whether your camper is brand new to music and looking for a safe place to have fun and explore, an established young musician looking to refine skills and play with others, or perhaps just a kid interested in taking a new instrument for a spin around the block, we've got you covered this summer!. The teacher and student have to be compatible in temperament and musical interests.

The teacher has to be able to provide just the right degree of structure, rigor, and reward for each student. Our first step is choosing to work with versatile, experienced, personable teachers for whom music education is a priority.
Services
Eclectic Music provides opportunities for personal growth, self expression, and collaboration through music for people of all ages and musical background. Through creative, high-quality programming, we are committed to creating a vibrant and passionate community in which everyone's talent is appreciated and valued.
Before there were playlists, there were mixtapes. And before there were mixtapes, kids like you had to sit by the radio for hours to hear their favorite songs. Campers will join us on a journey through time (and celebrate the music worth waiting for) as we play the best popular songs from a dozen different decades!
With little more than a new idea and sheer will power, we got 90% of our student body moved over to online lessons. Our request? Try one lesson online and see how it goes. All our online lessons take place via Zoom. Computers and tablets work best, but a smartphone is great in a pinch too! Simply connect your device to WIFI, set up your lesson space, and we'll be ready to connect.
Why don't we achieve the goals we set out to accomplish? Despite our best intentions, we lose steam when things get too difficult or life gets in the way. This guitar course works to solve both of those problems by offering small daily tasks that won't overwhelm you. For busy people, the biggest challenge in learning a new skill is simply not quitting.

Private lessons with flexible teaching styles tailored to students. Fluid instruction combining classical rigor and intersections with popular music. Recital and performance opportunities. Great Intiwn locations.

I took piano lessons from Eclectic for a while. I really enjoyed being able to walk to the 17th street location for lessons on my lunch break during the summer months (too bad you can't take lessons there during the school year). They also have a lot of great programs for kids, in addition to offering lessons for people of all ages.

I started taking violin lessons at Eclectic Music about a year ago. As a working adult, I was not exactly their typical student, but Casey (the owner) made me feel very welcome, and my teacher is fantastic. They have always been willing to work with my schedule. The building is very fun and colorful, there are great programs for kids, and I especially love the fact that Eclectic Music teaches that music is something to be shared with others.
