Very thorough and knowledgeable piano tuning. After an out of state long-distance move, it was much needed. My piano sounds amazing!

I've had 2 pianos tuned by Jim's Piano Service. Both times, a string broke and they did not have the replacement string with them. Seems odd to me. I would have thought that a piano tuner would have a replacement string in their vehicle. A piano string can't take up too much space in their vehicle. I called to schedule an appointment to have the string replaced.

I was quoted $260 for a technician to come to my house to replace the string. I feel like the string breaking technique might have been a method this service used to book another appointment and get more money from the customer.

Jim was phenomenal! He was right on time and was friendly, knowledgable and professional. I am so grateful that a friend of mine recommended him to me. I will never look for another piano tuning company! Edit: August 20, 2019 I had Jim come out for a second time and the service was fantastic yet again! I have since referred him to family and friends and everyone else has been thrilled with his service and fair prices. Thanks again for taking such great care of your customers and our pianos! I won't use anyone else!

What an excellent service! knowledgeable person to provide honest information about my piano. Jim was punctual, thorough in tuning the piano, and was approachable when answering my questions about it. I intend to continue using them for our piano maintenance needs and highly recommend.

We have a piano that hasn't been tuned in over 25 years. Jim, Jr set us up on a schedule that brought our piano up to par slowly as to not stress the piano. We started at 125% below proper tuning standard. Our piano is now at concert level standard. We recommend this company for families who are new to piano bc we are learning much from Jim. We also recommend this company to the pros bc they are very knowledgeable and experienced!

I had my piano turned about six months ago, but was told the sticky keys would cost too much to repair; so I haven't even been able to play it. I decided to get a second opinion and Jim came out to give me an estimate. He fixed it on the spot and charged me a very reasonable price. I cannot say enough about Jim the Miracle Man Moffett. He is as good as it gets.

I usually don't take the time to write a review, but the service provided by Jim's Piano Service was exceptional. Not only did my piano sound perfect after he was finished, he was able to accommodate me on short notice. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Frankly, I was expecting to be told my piano was beyond repair, and would require costly upgrades. Actually, the price I paid was the price he quoted. Thanks Jim, for your courtesy, and honesty. The follow up call was a nice touch too. I will continue to recommend this company to friends and family.
