We are Local 463 of the American Federation of Musicians chartered in 1907! The purpose of this site is two fold. One is to service the needs of our 150 members, and the other is to help the Lincoln community hook up with talented players and teachers. Services
Score, the official newsletter of Local 463, keeps you informed of meetings and policy changes affecting Local 463 members. The AFM, our national organization, publishes the International Musician. This publication deals with similar issues, but on a national and international scale. It also publishes audition notices and classified ads.
A. If you want the energy, excitement and emotion that will make your party absolutely perfect, then live music is your only real choice. A. Whether you want Top 40, rock, country, adult contemporary, big band, jazz, classical, ethnic music, or a blend of styles, Local 463-American Federation of Musicians-has the right band for you.
You can now advertise your group or organization with the LMA! You can submit a banner ad or we can design one for you for a modest fee. Banner ads are $20 per month, with a minimum of one year run. A 25% discount applies to Premium Members, and a 10% discount applies for Regular Members and nonprofit organizations (discounts can not be combined).
