With years of experience, Kwan Music has learned that broader horizons in overall music knowledge often lead to true passion for music learners, ensuring that they excel because of their inner passion as opposed to a desire to please their parents. With this mission in mind, we present our summer camp program.
The recital we attended last weekend was fantastic as usual! It's great you have kept this going for such long time. We all had very positive experience. Especially there is one performer, her name is Jenny Chen, her music was so touching, it moved me to tears right away. I haven't had such experience for a long long time.

My little brother took lessons here a few year ago, and I was very shocked by this music school. The teachers and staff were unprofessional and lazy. My brother's teacher was on her phone many times throughout the lesson. Even worse, she actually slapped/hit his hand when he made mistakes. My brother came out crying. Isn't that abuse? I do not recommend this school. They treat students like objects.

My daughter (9 yr) and son (7.5 yr) started learning music for almost 3 years. They started learning piano in group lessons in Ms. Diane's class. She was really good with kids, getting them interested and focused in class. And naturally both of my kids proceeded to next levels with private lessons. They now are learning piano, ukulele, and guitar.

Every year there are several recitals and concerts in which kids get to go on stage to perform. And everyone gets trophies! Kids of different levels perform. Some college students even had guest appearances to show their polished skills and talk about their music journey to the yong ones. This really inspired them to excel. The teaching language is English. But most students are Asian. All teaches in the school are very nice and professional. You will not regret sending your kids here to become little musicians.

My daughter has so much fun in class and actually learned a lot! The class is very well prepared and planned. We love Ms. Diane!

Kwan music school is a great place to learn music! My daughter (6yrs old) just finished her group lessons there with Ms. Diane, and is about to start private lessons. The group lessons with Ms. Diane were so fun and educational! Ms. Diane is such a professional teacher and really knows how to introduce the technical piano play and music theory to little kids (and their parents) in a fun way! Honestly, I can't believe that the music lessons could be so interesting and enjoyable!

My daughter (and I) learned a lot from the group lessons! After two sections of group lessons, every kids in my daughter's class can read music and play simple tunes, such as Jingle Bells! Very impressive! I highly recommend this school for learning music!

Stay away from this place. The teacher gives favor treatment to certain students. If your kid is not speaking up, the teacher will totally ignore your kid. The teacher also favors boys over girls. Not worth the money and time at this place.

My son has been a student here since he was 6yrs old started with Ms. Diane's piano group lesson. Diane is very professional and personal at the same time. She is a great teacher. All the teachers at Kwan are very dedicated and Diane knows how to match a student to right teacher. Very honest and clean expectations and rules of the school. I would recommend this music school to anyone!

Kwan Music School has been fantastic for my two young ones. The group classes have proven an excellent experience with the right balance of structure, fun & learning. And private piano lessons are also surpassing my expectations. Miss Diane is a capable, caring and wonderful teacher. Two thumbs up! One note to prospective families - the 4yr old class is fairly structured - intended as a precursor to the group keyboard class so a fair amount of time is on notes, beats, clefs, etc. the "grammar" aspects of music.

I personally wouldn't mind if more time were spent playing instruments, but Miss Diane is so excellent that my 4yr old son has a taken a fondness to everything that is covered. He's now making music flash cards at home

My son has been taking lessons there for a while. Their instructors (from my limited experience are good). It would be nice if they took credit cards in this day and age, and I have no idea why they can't fork out the 2% to Visa to make it easier for all their customers, but that's life. I find it hard to believe that the owners don't like to use their credit cards when they go to merchants, but who am I to say? Other than that, it's a good school for music.
