We replaced the original bridge with a new bridge that made full contact with the top of the violin. This is necessary for best sound production. The string grooves in the old nut had worn down to the level of the finger board, causing the strings to produce buzzing sounds. We replaced it with a new nut that eliminated this effect.
Wood and Strings Music Center is an active supporter of music education. Our Lesson Studio Staff consists of trained and experienced music teachers who are accomplished musicians in their respective fields. Beginning through advanced students may take individual lessons in band and orchestral instruments, voice, piano, and guitar.

nuinely seem like bad people. Unprofessional and incompetent.
Should have read the posts before going in. I called and asked if I could bring a guitar for assessment. Guy on phone said I could bring in and they’d assess for free.
After five minutes the lady started making fun of me for my questions, saying I was going on and on and needed to pay her for the information she just gave me. She demanded to know how much money I made.
On top of that she was dishonest about the guitar. She said it was all in tune. When I pointed out a fret that wasn’t, she blamed me. When I handed her the tuner, she tried to lie about what the tuner said. Finally admitted I was right. The rubber piece fell off the tuner and she blamed me for breaking their tuner.
I offered to give them a few dollars for their time, but she just made fun of me again. The guy then changed his story and said he told me I could have dropped it off and they would have assessed it for free, not do it live.
