Early childhood is an perfect time to expose kids to a range of positive musical experiences. Music education can enhance a student's listening skills, attention span, and critical thinking abilities; encourage development of fine motor skills; and lead to increased self-confidence and self-esteem.

My son is a continuing student with Mrs Inga and he has learned a lot since he started. The classes are fun, interactive and suitable for his age and he enjoys them. But most important, there is always a balanced amount of challenge for improvement or acquiring a new technique. Highly recommended if you are looking to start or continue your child's musical development.

We love Keys for Kids! Miss Inga is an incredible teacher that is very organized, patient, and fun all while maintaining a very structured class. She teaches the kids HOW to read music and encourages each child to empower themselves to take responsibility over their own learning (while also educating parents/caretakers on how best to help their child). Our son has learned so much since the start of the session and he enjoys playing and learning more at each lesson.

I have a 7 year old in private lessons/sessions with Mr. Vlad Stoicescu at Keys for Kids. He is exceptional. Every lesson is of the highest level of professional merit. He is meticulous, patient, and an effective compassionate communicator with student and parent. The school's owner, Ms. Inga Magid, is extremely vigilant and is high-touch. Ms. Jenny Proscia is the office manager and is extremely kind and timely in responses to questions via email.
We discovered Keys for Kids last summer and my son attended the summer camp group lessons. This was intended to be a gentle and fun introduction to music and piano for the children in the beginner courses. My son loved it and is even more engaged now that he had a fun introduction. This also allowed Mr. Stoicescu and the other teachers to have an opportunity to see the level of engagement and skill by each child to prepare for lessons in the fall. This worked really well for us as new entrants in to this world of piano lessons.

My 8-year old daughter loves her piano lessons at Keys for Kids. As a parent, I got to sit in the classes and am really impressed with Inga's teaching. She is funny and interactive, and at the same time offers a rigorous curriculum that balances repertoire pieces with music theory and sight reading. It's a perfect combination. I highly recommend this place.

Such a level of perfection and effort surely deserves a 5 star! Our 7 year old boy has been taking Piano lessons with Inga Magid for about an year, and he couldn't have asked for a better teacher to learn for. Keys for Kids, Lexington hosted its yearly Gala concert on 5/22/2016, and I at the Cary Hall, Lexington and I was amazed at the scale it was organised and orchestrated.
It was a very proud moment for our family to see our son perform professionally on that grand stage. A huge round of applause to all the students, teachers and Inga for making this journey of learning music so much fun and educational!

My daughter has been taking both piano and singing lessons here. The teachers are very friendly, adaptable, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Their focus on building a very strong music foundation rather than just learn how to play/sing a few pieces of music is very much appreciated in every day teaching.

Love this school. We have been taking our kids here for 7 years, since they were 3 and 4, and we can't imagine life without it. They can accommodate any level from beginner on up. Some of the private students are quite advanced. The best part is that parents are encouraged to attend the group classes with the kids. So if you want to learn along with your kids, you just have to practice.
Music has been my hobby for a while, and I have definitely benefitted from these group lessons. We have one child who has added saxophone lessons as well. So there are good instructors in other areas beyond piano. Definitely try it out if you are even thinking about it.

This school is good because the teachers seem to be very patient and very much geared toward focusing on each individual student and the needs of each student. They really get to know the students and their weaknesses and their strengths. They tailor lessons around the students' abilities and thereby help them improve their skills. I think the cost is comparable to most other studios. It's a great place for kids to learn to be good musicians and to respect the arts.
