Miss Barbara made piano lessons fun. My daughter started in third grade and was really able to focus being away from the house and in miss Barbaras studio. She learned music theory through fun games and challenges always with an exciting theme. Her piano skills increased steadily and she improved every year along with the other students at the studio whom we were able to hear at recitals.

My other daughter took voice lessons from fourth grade on for a few years. She was able to increase her vocal range and projection ability as well as her knowledge of music theory. She was able to get comfortable performing and is currently the lead singer of a band. She also sings the national anthem at all of her high school sporting events. Miss Barbara was able to help her hone her craft and the hours spent singing with Miss Barbara's feedback made all the difference in the world. She is a true professional and makes learning fun. I would highly recommend her to anybody looking into piano or voice lessons for their child.

Ms. Barbara is the best piano teacher! I am so glad that we found heart and soul music studio. My daughter started learning piano with her at age of 5. Ms. Barbara teaches various interesting technique such as piano games, theory books and piano pronto books which help my daughter to enjoy the lessons. She exceeds her commitment and make sure that her students gets right coaching by providing more time and materials when needed.

Apart from being excellent teacher, she is kind and humble human being. She also develops interest in composing music by giving them interesting stories and come up with their own background music. She also educates kids about famous composers by giving them study lessons and music lessons created by them. She gives various technique which help kids to do piano practice by them own. My daughter enjoys group lessons that schedule sometimes. Ms. Barbara encourage kids to take part in the National Federated Junior Festival.

Ms. Barbara has been working with my 11yo daughter for almost 2 years. We love her - my daughter is fanatical about practicing and really enjoys the way Ms. Barbara teaches the courses. She also enjoys the group activities and lessons that sometimes are scheduled - they help break up the weekly monotony and allow the students to get to know each other outside of just recitals. Ms. Barbara takes her time to get to know each student and really crafts individual lessons for them.

I had three children study at Heart and Soul Music Studio. Ms. Barbara is a caring teacher who really gets to know the children on an individual basis, and then tailors the lessons according to their needs and learning styles. She uses all kinds of media and incentive programs to try to make learning the piano fun for the kids. She has an easy to use website, which also allows for paying online which is a huge bonus! The location is great, as it is in close proximity to highways, shopping, library, and the middle school.

Miss Barbara is fun and encouraging! She is flexible and rescheduling is easy if you need to. My boys learned a lot : When we moved, she wrote up a sheet on each of the boys that I can give to their new piano teacher. Recommend!

Ms Barbara is a fantastic piano teacher! She relates well to my son and can motivate him when he has trouble sitting still for a lesson. She makes lessons fun by playing games and using creativity. I would recommend her to anyone.

My son took piano lessons with Miss Barbara for 3 years. He isn't always easy to work with but Miss Barbara was able to find creative ways to help him through. He learned so much in the time he was able to spend with Miss Barbara. She worked with him at his own pace, he and I both appreciated that!
