Langlois Pianos, in business since 1865, is the oldest family-run business in the state of Washington. Now in its fifth generation, in a time where only 30% of family companies survive to the second generation, Langlois Pianos is celebrating over 100 years in business. Ira talks about pianos like they are people: You have to treat a piano like a whole.
In today's piano technology Ira Langlois RPT has now serviced the the industry since 1966. Over fifty years of sharpening his skills at balancing the complete piano. An oral tuner taught from grandfather but increased his bag of skills thru the hundreds of class room hour training thru the Piano technician guild.
Langlois Pianos offers something rarely found in today's world: insight and craftsmanship refined through five generations of a family's dedication to a single trade. Ira T. Langlois III is a Master Technician who understands each intricate detail of how the piano functions. He "hears" the harmonies a piano should create when allowed to perform at its best.
Here at Langlois Pianos we are committed to making new and used piano sales a pleasant and enjoyable experience. Excellent service is at the heart of everything we do, we strongly believe that the customer is the most important part of any purchase. Call 360-509-4652 to talk with us. To help educate my clients I will help you gauge each individual type of piano performance.

James came out this morning and corrected my piano tuning. He spent a little over three hours; did a very thorough job. No notes suck now. Both higher and lower registries work properly. The mid octaves were out of temperament. He corrected that too! I am very pleased with his work and will recommend him to anyone who asks for a good piano tuner.

From the first contact where the history of my piano was researched and reported back to me telling me more than I knew myself Langlois has demonstrated a very personal care of my instrument and satisfaction with the result. I had them strip the well worn exterior, rebuild some broken parts, and return the piano to it's original stain. While I delivered it in pieces to them in the back of a U-Haul they carefully had their own craftsmen bring it back to me 175 miles away.
So meticulous it was worth every penny, they kept me informed on status, and even their messages showed they really cared. I wish the rest of the world shared such a fine level of customer service and caring for every instrument they touch. Thank You. Forbes Mercy Yakima, WA

After moving up to the Olympic Peninsula in December of 2011, I dreaded searching for a new piano technician to maintain my 1966 Krakauer console/upright. I cannot speak highly enough of master piano builder Ira Langlois, referred by a Friday Harbor concert group. Though I'm not as blessed to have a Langlois Piano in my home, I'm sincerely grateful to Ira for making the long drive, to tune my dear old piano.
Last month was his third annual visit, so I've had plenty of time to find fault. You can call this critique *****, yes five stars, but I'd give him ten stars if I could. He's amazingly skilled, professional, dependable, punctual, honest, and simply a joy to be around-if even for only a couple hours. The best aspect of Ira's visit, besides his sense of humor.is just how good my Krakauer sounds the morning after he's been here. See you next year, Ira. Rock on.

I've just met the "Langlois Piano family" and everything so far has exceeded my expectations! I was fortunate to have a referral and understand why Langlois Pianos were so highly recommended to me! I had a family Steinway M moved from my childhood family home in a small town to the Seattle area. I wasn't sure if a Bremerton company could handle this request and Michael couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating with planning the move.
On the emotional (for me!) moving day, Anthony and Jason were both so understanding and efficient. Attention to detail, extraordinary care taken for both the piano and the surroundings - so professional yet so personable. Look forward to the follow up tuning visit!

I was hesitant about anyone doing extensive work on my 1907 upright AB Chase piano, as I loved its tone, but I knew it needed some serious attention after over 100 years of use. Ira brought it back to life, and it is now a joy to play. I can recommend his work with complete confidence. Laurie Clough Juneau Alaska

I recently had to have an antique piano moved from Bremerton to Mercer Island. I could not of been more pleased with the service that Langlois provided. Everyone was helpful and friendly and very concerned about my piano, my hardwood floors, my walls.everything. And I thought the cost was extremely reasonable. I would definitely recommend Langlois. Couldn't have been more pleased. Thank you everyone at Langlois!

Ira Langlois brought our 1915 Janssen Cabinett Grand back to life! Every 6 months he has come to Juneau Alaska, where we live and repaired and resuscitated our battered but unbowed instrument. The expertise and knowledge shown is top-of the-line. The piano is now a joy to play. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to repair, refurbish or purchase a new instrument.

I needed my upright piano moved up a flight of stairs into a new apartment. The guys at Langlois Pianos were very professional and obviously knew what they were doing. Also, there was a bit of a mix up with the payment where I was accidentally charged twice (partly my fault), but it was caught early on and taken care of without a problem. I would highly recommend them.
