G&L is, of course, Leo Fender's last company which he ran until his passing in 1991. Since leaving the company which bears his own name in the mid 60's, Leo continued to refine and update his own designs; first with his MusicMan brand, and then with G&L. I (and many others) consider these electric guitars, still made in Fullerton, California, to be uber Fenders, representing Leo's last word on his own designs.
My Recital classical acoustic guitars are developed from the "Bream" 1973 Jose Romanillos. The slightly smaller body combined with my version of the Romanillos 7-fan, open harmonic bar bracing produces an instrument of great flexibility and charm. My Parlor classical acoustic guitars are based on an 1864 Antonio Torres parlor size guitar.
Village Music is offering a special Vintage Collection of guitars and amplifiers from Chic Edward's collection. These unique and rare instruments will be available in the store, featuring a few at a time each month. Please call Alan & Debby @ 206-842-4120 or stop in and see these rare and beautiful instruments for your collection!

The previous review was originally posted to Yelp and was since deleted. Not sure why it is still showing in Google. The owner of the store is a classically trained musician and luthier (builder of stringed instruments) who does regular repairs on all kinds of instruments with 40 years of experience and instruments place in homes around the world.
The store has been in business for nearly 10 years and is family owned and operated. Alan, the owner, has won an award for his contributions to the community and the store has regularly supported community vetures like the Teen Center's Battle of the Bands. There is a regular ukulele group hosted by the store on Saturdays.
