Services
Concord Conservatory of Music is a nonprofit music school serving Concord, MA and 15 surrounding communities. We are a creative and supportive community of musicians at all ages and levels. To foster a sense of community through music by providing accessible, high-quality music education and performance opportunities for people of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels. To provide a community center for high-quality 21st century music instruction for all who desire it.
We often use the words HEAR. UNDERSTAND. PLAY. PERFORM. LOVE. MUSIC. These words represent a set of values and foundational skills that are the Concord Conservatory experience. CCM students learn not just to play but, also, to appreciate the history and structure of the music; not just to love the music but, also, that sharing music with others is profoundly satisfying.
Whether young or older, approaching music study for the first time or revisiting a love from long ago, students will find at CCM a positive outlet for their creativity and their energy. We take students' interest seriously and strive to help them grow as people who understand and appreciate music-and love to play.
Music is a universal language. It can transport us; help us relive special moments; and make us healthier, happier and more connected as family, friends, and as part of a larger community. Music is known to improve mental health and quality of life. Music gives young children a way to communicate through activity and sound, and people of all ages an outlet for creative, positive self-expression. From birth, an infant's caregivers can interact musically with their child to build the baby's attention span and social awareness.
