El Rey Music Center has been an Arlington Heights icon since 1947. El Rey provides private instruction for guitar, ukulele, bass, drums, vocals, and keyboard, at all levels. Our instructors are all active musicians in the Chicagoland area and have years of performing experience. El Rey also helps younger students form their own bands and perform in front of large crowds at local music venues.

Unlike cookie-cutter music schools, ElRey Instructors provide a customized approach to their students. The results are my son is getting better, faster and having more fun in music, (guitar). Because of this, his confidence has increased and his school work and extracurricular activities are excelling. Highly recommend.

I recommend El Rey Music center! The instructors are very friendly. My 8 year old son was able to choose some songs he wanted to learn to play to keep his interest. price is not bad. we will use more.

El Rey is great. They have awesome teachers who promote an environment of collaboration and creativity with the instruments. I took lessons there for several years and it was one of the best experiences I've had. I recommend it for anyone.

El Rey has been part of the community forever, but recently it's experiencing a revival since it was taken over by Nahum. The location moved and the new space is modern and fresh, carrying upscale instruments along with the classics. The teachers are young and fun and excited to get their students playing, definitely give it a try!
