After teaching dance for six years at Orange County Community College, Joanna Furman-Markowitz realized she missed teaching kids. She taught for six years at Brooklyn College's Preparatory Center for the Arts and enjoyed the energy and enthusiasm when working with young performers.

My two sons have both studied music at Orange County School of Dance for the past seven years. My older son was awarded a music scholarship at Crane School of Music in Potsdam. I am very happy with the program and highly encourage the dance program as well. Very professional instructors who teach in a warm supportive environment.
