The Seattle Girls' Choir School was established in 1982 by Dr. Jerome L. Wright, Artistic Director, with the idea of creating a junior conservatory where talented young women from throughout Puget Sound Region could gather after school to evolve their music education under the tutelage of world-class artist-teachers.

My time with SGC has been the single most influential part of my life so far. This organization and the people within it have shaped me into the person I am today and the person I will be tomorrow. Choir taught me that selflessness is the key to success. Choir showed me what it felt like to contribute to a sound greater than the sum of its parts.
Seattle Girls Choir's Piccolini choir level is a non-auditioned choir primarily for girls in Kindergarten and 1st grade. Piccolini provides a foundation for choral singing including vocal tone, breathing, and an introduction to pitch, rhythm, and movement. We would love to have your daughter join us and begin learning about choral singing!.
Each summer Seattle Girls Choir (SGC) offers Summer Music Day Camp sessions designed for girls who love singing. Camp can help your child build choral/vocal skills, explore sound with various instruments, and find new reasons to love making music while meeting new friends. We recognize that this is a time of change and uncertainty.
Seattle Girls Choir is an organization in which young people are inspired to become the best musicians in the pacific northwest, celebrated for their contributions to their community, and encouraged to be their own best advocates. Our combination of music education and youth leadership opportunities provide the 180 youth in our programs aged 5 - 18 with an outlet to express themselves in a world where they are often taught to be silent. We give girls the skills they need to achieve their goals inside and outside of the concert hall.
