I live any art especially if it done from nothing a master piece of something eye catching always get attention.

I cannot say enough positive things about the Wyoming Fine Art Center. It is the crown jewel of Wyoming. The teachers, programs, summer camps are all amazing. We have used them for art, dance, and music and everyone has been fantastic!

Created, I believe, for the most part by the recently deceased Paul Bartel, I don't know a darn thing about this place, except that it is a great source for string instrument teachers. But everyone else seems to love it for the different experiences they have had here. Paul was an excellent businessman, but also gave back to the community in a huge way, and this was one of them.

He will be greatly missed. His business, the Baroque Violin Shop on NorthBend is the best source of string instrument school rentals, as well as servicing high level instrumental stars.

I look forward to two days of the week: Friday for obvious reasons and Thursday nights for orchestra rehearsal for the cincinnati civic orchestra. The building is old but full of life. I've done a bit of exploring to learn more about what it has to offer. The performing arts center is a Mecca got music education and development. Fellow musicians will nod in agreement how important it is to rehearse in a hall with good acoustics, and how rare it is to regularly rehearse in an acoustically sound place.

I assume the entire town of wyoming can overhear our rehearsals in the general rehearsal area. Such a pleasure. Suzuki violin lessons are taught here for the youngins as are art classes. The center is spotted with practice rooms that i assume are home to other string development opportunities. If you are looking to get involved as an adult or for your child to learn to play a stringed instrument, research how to get involved in this center. I also love the ample parking opportunities!

My husband and I had our wedding reception here in 2010. We loved it! The staff was very flexible and accommodating. We decided to rent some bar height tables and use some of the rounds supplied by the center. This allowed us to have more of a cocktail party vibe and gave more space for dancing. Our ceremony was held at the city gazebo just across the street (on other side of new Distassi venue).

The upstairs sanctuary at Wyoming Arts was our backup location for the ceremony. I uploaded one picture of our ceremony at the gazebo. The photo uploaded by Alex S. is from our reception. The shot is of the guests coming through the front entrance. My husband and I stood on the front porch for our processional to welcome the guests. We were very pleased and everyone enjoyed themselves at our event!

As a local wedding photographer, I get to see many types of venues. I was pleasantly surprised by the Wyoming Fine Arts Center! It has an AMAZING staircase - so perfect for photos. The ceremony was held upstairs - another cool room with the two pianos, theater-style seats and dark wood. I think the venue has a lot of cool details to offer - and my bride said they were SUPER flexible and very affordable.

They were able to bring in their own caterer - a big plus, since some venues force you to use one of their preferred caterers. I have added some photos from the wedding. If you are thinking of having your wedding and/or reception here and are working within a smaller budget, then I definitely think you'll be happy with the location and what they offer.
