Daniel teaches in such a way that it is fun, exciting and highly individualized to his needs and abilities. We are thrilled with the progress Zach is making and overwhelmingly satisfied with the attention that Daniel offers. The Daniel Patterson Music Studio is currently closed for a long-term sabbatical and is no longer accepting new students at this time.

I would highly recommend Daniel Patterson for piano lessons. Daniel is so enthusiastic that my son never had questions and was excited to go to lessons and play piano. We got through one lesson book in under 2 months! Life can be hectic sometimes, but Daniel is very flexible with make up lessons! Mr. Patterson makes piano easy and fun for kids with interactive games and lessons at his studio, so much more fun from when I was a kid.

My daughter started with Daniel Patterson at age 6 and has progressed quickly and proficiently in just 7 short months. She loves lessons and is excited to go each week. I was initially skeptical of the group lessons, but it has proven to be so much better than my own childhood experience of traditional lessons. I'm also looking forward to her younger brother joining her within the next year. With group lessons, they can both go at the same time, even if they're on different levels!

My son William has experienced great improvement in his level of playing since starting lessons with Mr. Patterson. William had taken piano lessons for several years, but his playing ability has improved dramatically over the last four months. Mr. Patterson does a nice job keeping our son moving along on the pieces, and I think the variety of music and the pace at which the class moves has kept William more engaged in playing piano.

My son expressed an interest in learning to play piano in 4th grade. I was thrilled to find Daniel Patterson Music Studio so close to home. Now, six years later, my son continues to excel in his piano skills and loves his experience with Mr. Patterson. His respect and admiration for Mr Patterson, drives him to push himself to do his very best and to practice his assignments daily.
My son has been asked to play piano solos at some of his orchestra concerts, and receives praise from his music teachers at school on his piano skills. Mr. Patterson is extremely organized. His schedule is consistent, his communication with the parents is superb. I can always count on a notification well in advance if any change will be necessary in the lesson schedule.
This has been consistent over the past six years my son has attended. I highly recommend Daniel Patterson Music Studio to any parent who is considering piano lessons for their child!

My daughter started going here when she was 4. She absolutely loved it here. She progressed quite well with her levels. Mr. Daniel is an excellent teacher and he has a good rapport with all his students. He is very involved with each student and also encourages the parents to take an active part in their child's lessons. The students also get to learn fun songs and do fun things along with learning the piano. I would highly recommend this studio to everybody.

My 6 year old son started piano lessons with Daniel at the end of January. He started lessons with just a mild interest in learning piano. He is now always excited and LOVES going to his lessons! Daniel's lessons are challenging and also really fun. Recently he was having so much fun practicing at home he asked if he could skip school the next day he could play the piano and continue his "learning." At the beginning of the year my first grader's school measures his baseline of knowledge in 25 different areas with a goal of 3.0 in each area by the end of the school year.
One month into the school year, he was evaluated in music class for singing melodic pattern, reading notes and playing notes scoring a 2.5, 3.0 and 2.0, respectively. One month into the school year and he has just about mastered his first grade music class! This can be fully accredited to what he has learned in his piano lessons.

My son has been taking piano lesson for less than a year, and he's really loved it. Not only do we not have to get onto him to practice, he loves showing us what he's learned. He looks forward to piano lessons every week, and I think it can be chalked up to Mr. Patterson's creative teaching ability, his use of games, his love for teaching and open learning space where several students get to learn at the same time. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants their child to love music and the achievement of a challenging performance.

Beginning of 2015 school year we had to relocate to Indiana. Our daughter had been taking Piano lessons for about 8 years and we were hoping to find a right teacher for her. Fortunately we found Daniel Patterson. He has exceeded all our expectations! His passion for music comes through his personality. Our daughter enjoys practicing and playing piano now more than she has ever been.
He gives her the choice to pick the music she likes to play and it has been a treat for us to listen to some challenging pieces. Moreover, he is not just a piano teacher. He cares about his student's life in general. We are so glad we found Daniel.
