For my mother's birthday I got her harmonica lessons. She had the best time and learned so much! I won't go anywhere else for lessons. They are so friendly and treat us like family. I personally took lessons at a couple other places and they will never stack up to the teachers at The School of Music! This really is the best place for lessons!

I've been taking lessons at the School of Music for over 4 years now, and I could not give a higher recommendation to this place- it is an absolutely wonderful school to learn an instrument! Founder and instructor Kevin Mittleman is a top guy with chops to spare, and he makes the process of learning guitar both fun and intuitive. Lessons at the School of Music are loosely structured, meaning that they leave a lot of room for you to learn what YOU want to play and understand. Having worked with a handful of private instructors before in piano and other instruments, I can say without hesitation that the teachers at the School of Music are the most fun and easy to work with. You cannot go wrong with taking lessons here.

I took drum lessons here for about two and a half years and I enjoyed learning how to play at a steady pace that was fit for me. The teachers here are reliable and experienced, and the owners of this school are wonderful people. The teachers here treat the students as friends, rather than treating them as "students" in normal schools, so there is very little awkwardness involved between the students and teachers during lessons. I loved taking lessons at The School of Music and I recommend it to anyone, novice or experienced, who wishes to pursue music.

Over the last few months I've been taking lessons at The School of Music. Everyone there is super friendly, and very down to earth. Glen (my instructor) is relaxed, patient, and very good at teaching! Although I have not had lessons with anyone else, I am assuming the same based on what I have heard. I have improved dramatically since I started taking lessons and I have The School of Music to thank for that! I would definitely recommend them to ANYONE of ANY skill level looking for music instruction!
